Yuki Utagi

In life, Yuki Utagi was one of the lead singers in a rising idol group, known for her joyful voice and cheerful songs. But the despite the group's success, Yuki was going through a scarring career as she became disillusioned with her dream of becoming an idol, leading to her untimely death. Out of sympathy for Yuki, her soul was taken in by the cursed microphone in hopes of providing comfort for her as she moved into the afterlife.

As one of the three spirits possessing the Geist Driver, Yuki's soul bonded with Alex Williams, allowing him to use the power to slash and cleave. She has also formed an unlikely friendship with Pierce Heavens, despite how often the two quarrel. Even with her overall gloomy attitude, she finds herself slowly opening up to others and feeling hope again.

• She's a sweet tooth, although very picky with her food;
• Before adopting a more goth-ish fashion, Yuki used to wear brighter, more colorful outfits;
• She actually finds Pierce pretty comforting, and even enjoys his company, despite saying otherwise;
• She is a bit reclusive, and refuses to go out of the microphone in crowded areas. However, she occasionally asks to go out of the microphone to enjoy the more day-to-day aspects of Alex's life.
